24th & York Mini Park

"An oasis in the middle of the city and the hustle and bustle. The key attraction is a supercool snake feature. It is long, going in and out of the ground, with beautiful tile work that will remind you of ancient times. There are tables and chairs to sit, and four play things. The park is surrounded by murals, including a spectacular one made with tiles on the left. While small, this is a great place to take a break."

"This is a nice urban park. Lovely art work, places to sit in sun or shade. Picnic tables, things to bounce or climb on. It even has a water feature for hot days if you push the button. What I didn't see were restrooms. Still it's nice enough for a quick break."

"We call this "Dragon Park" because its central feature is a tile dragon (really more of a snake) that is also a water fountain when it's warm. The dragon is nice enough, but it appears to have consumed too much of the budget, because there are only three other small play structures including a recently replaced swing, and not much for smaller kids to do here. This can be good for a quick stop, but don't make it your main one."
