Insider tips

  • Wear light, comfortable clothing and athletic sneakers/shoes, as you will be physically active and the game rooms can be hot.
  • Consider visiting during potentially less crowded times to minimize waits for popular games (though experiences varied on crowd levels).
  • Be aware that one hour of play might not feel like enough given how engaging the games are, plan accordingly or inquire about extending play if possible (not explicitly mentioned but implied).

Good to know before you go

  • If you have low tolerance for waiting for activities, particularly during potentially peak hours.
  • Wearing heavy, restrictive, or non-athletic clothing due to the physical nature of the games and reported heat inside the rooms.
  • Potential for significant wait times for popular games, which can eat into the paid play time (one reviewer reported spending 'a third of your time waiting').
  • The interior of game rooms can get 'very hot', requiring light clothing for comfort.
  • One hour of play time might feel too short due to the highly engaging and 'addicting' nature of the games.
Crowds
Can be crowded, leading to waits for games, with one group spending 'a third of your time waiting'.
Value
The experience is described as highly fun and 'addicting' for the one hour of play offered. While no specific pricing is mentioned, the value is high given the physical activity and enjoyment across age groups. However, some find that waiting for games can reduce the effective play time within that hour, and the 'addicting' nature suggests one hour might feel too short, potentially leading to wanting more play time or visits.
Accessibility
No specific accessibility accommodations mentioned in the reviews.
Safety
Wristbands are provided to store personal belongings in lockers, implying a system for securing visitor items.

"We decided to try this place for my 11 yr olds birthday- he was able to bring 4 of his friends for a group max of 5 people. We had a time reservation where They are allowed to play the different games for one hour. The only issue was that their is also a bunch of other groups who are trying to use the same games and if you have to wait 5 min to get into the game you want you spend a third of your time waiting. It was also very hot inside the games so wear light clothing and sneakers to be able to move around"

"We had an absolute blast at Activate Games-what a treat! Check in process was really easy. They give you a wristband to keep track of your points for the games, and also a wristband to store personal belongings in a locker. Everyone we interacted with was super helpful and walked us through everything. They even gave us some recommendations for games to play. There are SO many different games to play for all skill levels and ages. You will definitely get a workout in playing some of these games so wear comfortable clothes and shoes! There is a giant parking garage located right next door so"

"Place was amazing!!! Good for ages 6 and up! Came with family and we all had as much fun as the kids. The staff was great and very helpful with describing each game. There was not a long wait at all for the games which made it better. Will be coming back for date night or couples/ kids birthday"
