We had the privilege of getting to experience this center very recently on a school class trip as chaperones. The center was very organized and emailed us ways to pay prior to getting to the location. It cost us $20 which was a few bucks off regular price but we are also only there for limited hours 10 am to 1 pm which makes sense to not pay full price. I hope they continue to offer that. Once we got to the center the staff went over the rules and responsibilities for the day. There is so much to see and explore when at the center. The playground is a blast and some of the amazing exhibits included plants, music and body works. We could easily spend about 1 hour in each section if time permitted. There is a subway in the location for lunch but I world have loved a coffee shop. I highly recommend this center for a great science day especially when it is raining or cold outside.

This place combines science, fun, interactive experiences for a true adventure for kids of all ages and adults. Fossils, dinosaurs stand next to the timeline of space travel and planet exploration. Learn about gravity and various terrains with hand size race cars. Play with lights to make patterns and even play in a band with an interactive screen. Two climbing areas often chances to expend energy. An area for under 5 year olds offers a separate area for gross motor and fine motor skills. Explore different systems of the body, with fun activities, even a pathology lab. Some events have a separate charge, like the Planetarium and a MAX FLIGHT, motion simulator. Subway offers a cafe for all, separate entity from center. ANDREW was quite busy cleaning surfaces and items that people touched. Accessibility: Front door accessibility. Wheelchair access van spaces in free private lot, with ramps and stairs to entry. Front door drop of and pick up in front circle. Everything in venue except two climbing structures is accessible. Wheel chair accessible restrooms with grab bars and diaper changer throughout the venue.

Absolutely amazing place! Everything that a science center should be. Planetarium included. Tons of activities for the kids, as well as a great learning experience for adults. If you live in Nashville and have not been here you are definitely missing out. We take our kids here every chance we get. If you visit and love it, we would recommend getting the season passes, as it is cheaper in the end. Put the phone on hold. Pack a lunch, or hit the cafeteria. Bring family, friends, and acquaintances alike. There's no doubt that everyone will love it.

Great experience for everyone! We lace is relatively clean, the theater at 360 view was super cool only one exhibit we couldn’t see BUT hope to return sometime to Nashville.

Giving 3 stars because my 5 year old did enjoy our day here although there are many reasons to give less stars. Definitely older museum with not a lot of updates, many things were broken, misplaced and just dirty and grimy. The play tower in the middle had several boarded up sections although it appeared they may have been working on the very top level of it so maybe they’re getting ready to fix more of it. Thankfully it wasn’t extremely busy when we came so were able to do everything available, things that worked anyway. The children’s museum in our hometown is always changing, updating and cleaning so maybe my expectations were a little higher but this was something fun to do on a rainy day on our vacation.
