• • Alcohol is not permitted on equipment or docks. Anyone who does not comply will be removed from participation.

🛡️Safety Policy

• • All equipment and high touch surfaces are thoroughly cleaned per CDC recommendations.
• • Customers and staff are assessed for symptoms and instructed to remain at home if feeling unwell.
• • Life jackets are provided with rentals, including children sized life jackets.
• • Dry bags are provided for items like phones, wallets, and keys.
• • Spray skirts are available if needed.
• • Instructions and safety information are given before leaving the dock.
• • Renters are responsible for full replacement value if equipment is lost or damaged.
• • No pets allowed on equipment or docks due to insurance policies.

📅Booking Policy

• • Hourly rentals for singles or small groups (1-11 people) are first-come, first-serve.
• • Limited Hourly Reservations are offered for groups of 1-6 paddlers each weekday, but are not required.
• • Large Group Reservations (12 to 60 paddlers) are available only on weekdays and require a minimum of 2 hours in length.
• • Groups larger than 60 must contact tours@aguaverde.com directly for accommodation.
• • A 50% deposit on the total tax-inclusive cost is required to confirm a Large Group Reservation.
• • All changes to a Large Group Reservation must be requested at least two weeks before the scheduled reservation.
• • A Group Organizer must be designated as the primary contact and fill out a Group Reservation Request Form.
• • Groups should arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled reservation time, and the event coordinator must be present to help organize the launch.
• • Rentals require a one-hour minimum, pro-rated every 10 minutes after the first hour.
• • One state/federal issued ID is held per group of kayakers, and one ID per individual paddle boarder.
• • Each adult paddler (18+) is required to sign an insurance waiver.
• • Your rental time starts when you sign up (with a grace period to get out on the water).
• • Rentals include one launch and one land. If group members arrive late, the launch can be delayed, but the return time will not be changed. Late participants cannot launch separately from the group.
• • No takeaway or overnight rentals.
• • Rental equipment can only be launched from and returned to Agua Verde Paddle Club docks; personal equipment cannot.

🚗Parking Information

• • Limited Free Parking: W 24 Lot (entry across street from Agua Verde, University of Washington lot). Available for free after 4 pm on weekdays and all times during weekends and holidays. Best option on weekends and weekday evenings.
• • Street Parking: Along Boat St. Paid for up to 2 hours on weekdays and Saturday. Free on Sundays. Pay careful attention to signage and hours. Best for short-term parking on weekends and evenings.
• • Pay Lots:
• • - Boat Street Marina Lot (1401 NE Boat Street Lot): Park here anytime, often best at busy times. Pay at the kiosk at entrance. Costs $2/hr for up to 4 hours. Closest to the Paddle Club with two parking spots.
• • - 1200 NE Boat Street Lot: On the corner of Pacific and Boat Street, one block west of Agua Verde across the street from the bike shop. Paid parking Monday to Friday, 5 am to 3 pm. Free on weekends.
• • Bike Parking: Plenty of bike parking in front of Agua Verde. Accessible via the Burke-Gilman trail (go down Brooklyn Ave until you hit the waterfront).
