"Excellent paddle on the Alafia River. Only $25 for the canoe rental! Friendly customer service and we are always happy to support a family owned business. Canoed up stream, encountered some rapids that we had to pull the canoe through, and saw abundant Florida wildlife (alligators, invasive wild pigs, birds, turtles, and plenty of fish). Some parts of the river were a bit challenging and required navigating around downed trees from the 2024 hurricane season. The paddle took 2.5 hours. We look forward to visiting again!"

"A very quiet neighbourhood and not much chaotic, ideal place to Kayak. We had our own inflatable Kayak and didn’t rent any but launched from this place. Advisable to kayak uphill because downhill it’s very rocky. The waters were a little mucky but good enough for Kayaking. Spotted Blue heron too, feels closer to nature."

"My wife and I took a canoe out and my wife has really bad knees but I won't have to take her out for the ride down the river and when we got back she could knock it out of the boat.
