Altitude Trampoline Park - Skokie
Overview
Expert Summary
Detailed Insights
Altitude Trampoline Park in Skokie offers genuinely fun, clean trampolines and diverse activity areas, capable of hosting multiple birthday parties without feeling overcrowded. However, its appeal is severely compromised by critical operational failures, including unreliable opening hours, inconsistent cleanliness (especially restrooms), and notably poor, unprofessional, and deceptive food service that lacks basic provisions for outside orders.
Key Highlights
- ✓Trampolines are 'great' and the facility is notably clean, with socks staying 'spotless' after jumping.
- ✓Offers 'many different areas' providing opportunities for various activities.
- ✓Manages 'several' birthday parties simultaneously 'very well' and does not feel 'overcrowded at all'.
- ✓Provides a fun experience for both children ('kids', 'grandkids', 'three-year-old') and accompanying adults ('my son or me').
- ✓Effective for kids to 'burn off energy' and 'let off some steam'.
Standout Features
- ⭐Spotlessly clean trampoline areas.
- ⭐Multiple distinct activity zones within the park.
- ⭐Capacity to host numerous birthday parties concurrently without feeling overcrowded in the main jumping areas.
- ⭐Offers snacks and drinks on-site (though quality/variety not specified).

💡Pro Tips from Reviews
- →**Confirm Hours:** Absolutely call ahead or double-check current operating status, especially for planned events, as the facility can be unexpectedly closed despite listed hours.
- →**Bring Your Own Food Supplies:** If planning to order outside food (e.g., pizza for a party), bring all necessary plates, napkins, utensils, and condiments, as none are provided.
- →**Manage Food Logistics Independently:** Do not rely on staff for any assistance with outside food orders or setup.
- →**Pack Personal Cleaning Supplies:** Consider bringing sanitizing wipes for tables and hand soap/sanitizer for bathroom use, given reported cleanliness issues.
- →**Lower Service Expectations:** Be prepared for potentially indifferent or unprofessional staff interactions, particularly regarding issues or food service.
Things to Consider
- ⚠**Unreliable Operating Hours:** Facility was 'completely closed' despite website and physical signs stating it was open (10 AM), resulting in 'ruined' special occasions and 'lost $90'.
- ⚠**Poor Food Service & Staff Conduct:** No on-site pizza; outside pizza delivery waited 45 minutes, then handed over with 'no plates, utensils, or condiments'. Staff exhibited 'worst response', 'lied' about pizza delivery (took from break room 20 min later), and showed 'unprofessional' and 'complacent' behavior regarding food service.
- ⚠**Inconsistent Cleanliness:** While trampolines are clean, bathrooms can be 'not clean', with the women's bathroom lacking 'soap or running water'. A table required self-disinfecting, and a broom was given for self-sweeping.
- ⚠**Staff Professionalism & Training:** Staff described as 'indifferent attitude', needing 'better training' in customer service due to 'unprofessional' actions and lying.
- ⚠**Broken Amenities:** An 'icy drink dispenser machine was out of order'.
Price & Value
A 90-minute jump pass for three people cost 'almost $90'. One party host 'spent over 200 with your company'. While the core jumping experience is described as fun and clean, the significant operational failures (unexpected closures, poor service, hygiene issues) severely undermine the value for money, especially when pre-payment leads to lost funds.
♿Accessibility & Special Needs
- •No information mentioned in the reviews.
🍎Food & Drink Policy
- •No on-site pizza options are available; pizza must be ordered from an outside vendor.
- •Outside food (specifically pizza) is allowed for parties, but the park does not provide basic dining supplies like plates, utensils, or condiments.
- •On-site 'snacks and drinks' are available for purchase.
- •Guests bringing 'their own party items' is a common practice.
🚗Parking Info
- •No information mentioned in the reviews.
👥Crowd Levels
- •The park seems to handle crowds well, as multiple birthday parties occurring simultaneously did not make it feel 'overcrowded at all'.
🛡️Safety Features
- •No explicit safety features (e.g., staff monitoring specific areas, first aid, secure entry/exit) are detailed in the reviews. The observation that parties were 'managed well' may imply general supervision, but this is not specified as a safety measure.
- •Staff unprofessionalism and indifference could indirectly be a safety concern if it extends to supervision or emergency response.
⏰When to Avoid
- • **Special occasions** (e.g., birthdays) if you cannot tolerate unexpected closures or require reliable, seamless service.
- • **If you expect staff assistance with food setup** for outside catering (e.g., providing plates/utensils).
- • **Families prioritizing consistent high hygiene standards** in all areas, especially restrooms and common dining spaces.
- • **If you have strict time constraints** and cannot afford unexpected facility closures or significant delays (e.g., 45-minute wait for pizza, then another 20 minutes for staff to retrieve it).
- • **If high-quality customer service and staff professionalism are non-negotiable priorities.**

2 months agoAltitude Trampoline Park in Skokie is a fun and enjoyable destination, especially for kids. The trampolines are great, and one thing that stood out is how clean the facility is. Even after jumping around, your socks stay spotless, which speaks volumes about their cleanliness standards. The park offers snacks and drinks, and it’s a great spot for hosting parties. However, one major downside we experienced was related to food. During our visit, we had to order pizza from an outside vendor, as they don’t offer on-site pizza options. After waiting 45 minutes for delivery, the attendant handed us the pizza in the box with no plates, utensils, or condiments. This made the process inconvenient and felt less thoughtful compared to other trampoline parks we’ve visited, where food is more seamlessly integrated into the experience. It seems like guests bringing their own party items is common here, but the lack of inclusive food options and the somewhat indifferent attitude of the staff during our food experience was disappointing. That said, if you’re not planning to eat while you’re there, the park is fantastic for kids to burn off energy and have a great time. With some improvements to the food policy and service, this location could easily become one of the best trampoline parks around.

3 weeks agoI just had the worst experience today. The staff had the worst response order pizza . My wings came first. No pizza staffthan claimed that pizza would come later. The staff than took pizza from break room. 20 min. Later. Than when address staff became complacent in the action. We spent over 200 with your company to be lied to. The fact is the action taken was unprofessional. They need better training. With customer service. Also had to disinfect the table and requested a broom they gave it to me to sweep myself. Bathroom also not clean.

2 months agoI made special arrangements to have a fun morning at Altitude Skokie with my three-year-old for his birthday, arranging childcare for my baby so we could spend rare 1-on-1 time with my oldest. Altitude Skokie listed a 90-minute jump pass for 10 AM on their website, which came to almost $90 for the three of us. However, upon arrival, the facility was completely closed despite signs in two places stating it was open. No one answered the phone, and after waiting 10 minutes, it was clear no one was coming. This completely ruined the special morning I had envisioned. Not only was I unable to celebrate with my child as planned, but I also lost $90 on an activity we couldn’t even do. This is wildly unacceptable. Either update your website to reflect accurate hours or staff your facility appropriately. To take our money and rob us of this opportunity to celebrate is disgraceful. I wouldn’t recommend this business to anyone. What a disappointment.

8 months agoSo much fun! Not sure who had a better time, my son or me. We were invited to a birthday party. One of several going on at once. It was really managed well and there was plenty of room for everyone. It did not feel overcrowded at all and the kids were having a blast. Highly recommended for parties, rainy days, or if you just need to get some jumps in for fun and to let off some steam.

8 months agoThis is a very nice facility and our grandkids loved playing there. There are many different areas that give them opportunities for different types of activities. But, the women’s bathroom had no soap or running water and the icy drink dispenser machine was out of order.
