3 months agoIt’s about a mile walk around the lake. It’s a birder’s paradise so bring binoculars. The bike/pedestrian paths are undergoing an upgrade with new plantings and clearing of brush, offering better views of the lake shore and wildlife.

a year agoA very nice place to walk, watch a sunrise or sunset. It has many green areas, flowers from the region. Tables and water sports club.

4 years agoI love that my bike route to work includes going through here. It's such a chill, beautiful park that's great for hanging out in or just passing through. Lots of wildlife like herons, egrets, etc. The little covered pier is nice spot and it's usually got no one on it. So grateful for this piece of nature in all the gross industrial stuff.

4 years ago-Public bathrooms👍 Not the cushiest👎 -Outdoor exercise areas(2) the nicer of the 2 not photographed 👍 -A little historical lesson 👍 -Safety⚖️ on the trail yes, but as I was walking back I noticed several cars(4-6) that were parked on the side of the road that had their tires slashed this particular day. Asked a gentleman that it happened to about the situation he said it was a lady that lived under the bridge that did it. The parking lot were I parked is close to a business and seemed the safer place to park.

3 years agoThe park is nice but its location is too close to a major I- 80 freeway. As a result, between 3 pm and 7pm it is very noisy here and the area is poluted from the cars and trucks stuck in a heavy traffic going Eastbound. Best time to be in the park is between 10 am and 3 pm. In the morning, between 6 am and 10 am, the noise and pollution are coming from the traffic going westbound toward San Francisco and Oakland. Otherwise, the park is wounderful and well maintained.
