10 months agoVery professional shows. I've seen several and they never disappoint! This was Damn Yankees. Singing and acting is magnificent. They even have great techs so sound is great. Go see a show, they perform new ones frequently.

a year agoGreat use of what was probably unleased retail space in the mall. The bar area had a piano & tables set like a cabaret - but no one played that piano... Only wine (someone thought also, beer) or donations canned sodas & candies (the candy offerings were substantial). Inside, the seating was various - mostly 2-3 top tables (we had 2 for a group of 5) and raised seating gave perfect views of the stage. Impressed with the facility's layout & far from disappointing was the performance of Young Frankenstein, the Musical.

3 months agoI wanted to like Arts Express, but the lighting was so bad I couldn’t tell if the person on stage was giving a heartfelt performance or just searching for the nearest exit. The sound system? Let’s just say it sounded like an early 2000s karaoke machine. Half the time, I had no clue what was being said, which, honestly, might’ve been a blessing. The whole experience felt more like an escape room than an event space (except I couldn’t escape). I’d only recommend it if you enjoy squinting and guessing games. Though, maybe I just caught them on an off day?! You can decide for yourself.

3 months agoAlthough high quality performers and good shows are produced here, Arts Express Theatre’s principles are far from modern. Through the grapevine, it has been confirmed that this company commits pay discrimination to marginalized groups across the board. Do not support this business unless you morally believe in pay discrimination based on who you are. If you believe in that, you have other problems you need to get looked at.

2 months agoArts Express is a huge disappointment. The performances and shows are poorly executed, lacking professionalism and quality. If you’re looking for a worthwhile experience, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. Definitely not worth the time or money.
