9 months agoMy child LOVES going to Artscope everyday during the Summer. She comes home with tons of unique creations in her backpack which makes me feel so happy knowing that her artistic itch is being scratched. Thank you to everyone at Artscope!

a year agoArtscope has a great mission and would likely be a good fit for your child if they are neurotypical, but be knowledgeable if your child is neurodiverse. The leadership and inclusivity statement are very promising, but in the end, our child will be in contact with the counselors the most, and as of 2023, they are not professionally trained in how to deal with ND kids, even for "mild" cases. Your kid may end up getting punished for being who they are. "My brother has autism and I have ADHD" is not the same as in-depth training. Again, this is a great organization, and I don't mean to throw shade. For most kids it will be a superb experience, but for the large minority of ND kids, you should talk to the counselors beforehand.
