"I had the opportunity to take a stroll through Battelle Riverfront Park along Scioto Trail while having some time to kill at a convention. This park has so much history to see and learn about. We ended up reading and spend a short time in this park and expected to walk a lot further. The park has a lot of green space to sit relax and take the park and it’s scenery in from the view of the river to sculptures, monuments and more. "We first discovered this tranquil spot at a rest area in Ohio, where a picture of the Scioto Mile caught our eye. The boardwalk by the river looked inviting, so we decided to take a stroll before dinner. The evening ambiance was enchanting, perfect for families to relax on picnic chairs or blankets spread out on the grass. While our visit was accompanied by loud music, I could see the potential for peaceful days. The large concrete boardwalk is ideal for biking (which are available for rent). "This is an awesome place for family and couple. Nice promenade and kid play arena. A majestic suspension bridge and overall great place. The stadium and eateries are right opposite to the promenade. Had a good time."
