🍎Food Policy

• • General: No outside food is allowed in the animal areas.
• • Birthday Parties: You may bring your own cake, food, and refreshments. Coolers are allowed. No glass bottles or containers permitted. No food or drink is allowed inside the animal areas.
• • Animal Feeding: Only feed animals cut-up fruits or vegetables provided by BF Petting Farm. Hold the food by the end and feed it by hand for cows, goats, sheep, donkeys, or ponies (do not throw on ground). You may toss food onto the ground for chickens, ducks, or pigs.

🛡️Safety Policy

• • General: Visitors are expected to follow farm rules. Failure to do so may result in being asked to leave the premises.
• • Hygiene: Wash hands with soap and water before eating or drinking, especially after animal contact. Washing stations are located near the restrooms and picnic area.
• • Attire: Wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
• • Children Supervision: Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. All children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. 'Accompanied' means the adult must be within sight and normal speaking distance of the child. Adults are fully responsible for children's behavior. Children unwilling to follow rules, along with supervising adult, may be asked to leave.
• • Animal Welfare: Top priority is safety and well-being of animals; gentle and respectful handling required. No acts of violence, aggression, or behavior intended to harm, scare, or distress animals. Do not throw trash, rocks, sticks, dirt, or any objects at animals or into their water containers. Do not scream at, taunt, or provoke animals. Do not chase chickens or ducks.
• • Enclosures: Do not climb fences, open gates, or enter animal pens. Do not allow children to sit, stand, or be held over the fences.
• • Prohibited Items/Conduct (General): No smoking, alcohol, or weapons permitted on premises. No pets allowed (only service animals trained to assist individuals with disabilities permitted). Do not eat or drink while interacting with animals.
• • Prohibited Items/Conduct (Birthday Parties): No smoking, vaping, or alcoholic beverages. No music, microphones, noisemakers, or excessive yelling. No weapons or fireworks. No balloons (latex or mylar), confetti, or other non-biodegradable items (hazard to animals). No staples, tape, or substances that could damage painted surfaces.
• • Behavior Policy: Any individual behaving unruly or disrespectfully toward property, staff, owner, or violating rules may be asked to leave.

📅Booking Policy

• • Birthday Party: A $50 deposit is required to reserve your date. The host will pay at the end of the party based on the final guest count. All guests must check in with an assistant before entering the farm. Contact Irene at (813) 629-7859 for information or to schedule a party.
• • Setup & Decorations (Birthday Party): You may arrive up to one hour prior to your party start time for decorating and setup.
