Had a great experience at Big 5 Sporting Goods thanks to Lane! From the moment I walked in, Lane was friendly, attentive, and went out of his way to help me find exactly what I needed. He answered all my questions with patience and made sure I left with the right gear. It’s not often you come across customer service this genuine. I’ll definitely be back—thanks again, Lane!

We went in here to buy a metal detector and we’re not expecting much in the way of assistance. We received a friendly greeting upon arrival, and we were offered immediate assistance. We watched the young man who assisted us greet and assist others as they came in the store. The gal running the register was also trying to help a customer. It was refreshing to have people working in a retail establishment like this be friendly and helpful. It is sad that it’s alarming when people do their job and do it without a bad attitude in retail land, but I need to give credit where credit is due. The staff here was terrific.

Rude, when I asked if they had the flip flops shown in the website in the store. I was told rudely that they don’t bring them out from the back this time of the year.

Everyone was cool and I got some cheap yet very nice shoes.

This is a nice store with nice people and pretty competitive pricing. I needed new sneakers, the gentleman who was there assisting was extremely helpful and informative and very diligent about helping everyone especially families with children. I hope this little company sticks around, I like it.
