"I so wish they had this splash pad when I was a kid growing up in Blasdell back in the 1980’s! The overall playground is much smaller than the massive JFK playground, but the splash pad make the trip to Silver Street well worth it. The pad is good sized, and the spacing between attractions is ample. Even if it gets busy, the pad isn’t so crowded that the kids are bumping into each other. The entire park from the surrounding grass to the actual cement pad is well maintained and clean. My son is 8, and had an absolute blast with the dumping buckets. "I was pleasantly surprised with the blasdell splash pad and the playground. My grandchildren are young and one Is handicapped. It was really fun for all. My granddaughter could walk around on her Walker without worrying. It was well supervised and very clean. Hats off to blasdell for a high quality splash pad & playground."
