a year agoThis park is close to my house so I go there a lot. The bigger kids' playground has been burned and closed off for quite some time though. There are a lot of children in the area. I wish they would renovate it for the children. The park is in a nice neighborhood on two sides and a poor neighborhood on the other two sides. I often wonder if it would have been fixed already if it was located in a rich neighborhood. There is a separate playground intact for younger children. It's perfect for those that are beginners to walking, running, and the swift movements that are almost always part of the better kids' playground. Also, a big oak tree branch cracked and fell over part of the sidewalk. The branch was about 24 inches in diameter at the crack location. It's been a couple of weeks and it's still laying across the sidewalk. I enjoy walking through the park with a friend and our Chihuahuas and I use it as part of my morning jog. A lot of people use this park. I think during the summer on Friday afternoons between 3 pm and 5 pm, tons of people gather, barbeque, socialize, and watch the young people play soccer, cricket, or some other game. Everyone is there to enjoy the shade, the outdoors, good food, and the great company of others. There don't appear to be any sprinklers which means the grass will end up dry but it also means you don't have to worry about getting an unexpected wet surprise.

a year agoIts okay, just a cute lil park. Playground, basketball, tennis court (no net). Used to have homeless people camped around but haven't seen them recently.

2 years agosmall neighborhood space for walk and relaxation.. has been increasingly overpopulated constantly by new immigrants from mid east who have been housed close by.. close to home so very convenient for short bouts of exercises..

7 years agoNice park for picnics. Great play structures for the kids. Watch out for the outhouse-like facilities.

4 years agoSmall neighborhood park. Good for a quick walk or younger kids to play. Noticed there was a lot of trash, but not sure if that is normal or not.
