"Great public park with lots of jogging trails and places for outdoor picnic. Beautiful views of the river with many options for your jig. Cross on the bridges to get to other islands and the other side to put together a great workout. Lots of green space to enjoy along with area to access the water via canoe. See the lighthouse while you are there as well."

"Visiting from out of town to participate in the Hot Chocolate run and Boom Island Park was the starting and finishing point. Nice park near the Mississippi River with a beautiful view of the city. Seemed spacious, clean and serene. I would visit again, perhaps outside of a specific event."
