6 months agoThis playground has been updated so I thought I’d share since the pictures are old. This is a great playground for babies to 10 or so. But definitely a toddler playground. It’s gated, there’s a sand pit with toys, rocks to climb, picnic tables, small area to run for small feet, several swings, we saw several kids while we were visiting. Older kiddos can explore with the climbing structures.

9 years agoI'm not from Providence so I rate things here based as an out-of-towner. I have a toddler and while in town the family wanted to explore local playgrounds in the nice area around Brown University. Brassil Park is a cute neighborhood playground but certainly not a destination playground like Lippitts Memorial Park or Dexter Field. It needs some landscape pretty badly and the ginkgo trees in the fall smell to high heaven. The stink from these trees' fruit stayed in my nostrils for quite a while after leaving.
