4 months agoThis long awaited addition to the Bronx is a great place to take little ones. The target audience is definitely toddler through elementary focused. The layout gives it a much larger feel. The views are much different than most NYC 'museums.' The meshing of Bronx/NYC in the aesthetic is great. It doesn't feel as though the community then museum serves is being underrepresented. The kids loved the museuma ND so did the adults.

a year agoVery nice children’s museum, vibrant colors and interactive. Because of reservations it wasn’t over crowded. It had a very heavy emphasis on Latin/a/x/Hispanic Culture, so I wonder if that is the standing focus or if different cultures are highlighted monthly, yearly, etc. Nevertheless, it was great for us to learn and experience! Bathrooms are accommodating. Loved how they had a low sink for children. Overall, it was great and I recommend going.

a year agoThis children's museum had a well-organized layout, with clean stations and restrooms. However, I'm rating it 1 stars due to the overly attentive staff, which made me feel like they were constantly monitoring my every move. This level of oversight felt invasive and made the overall experience quite unpleasant. I felt like I couldn't breathe in peace. It was a constant parental policing that left me feeling uncomfortable. What's more, I was concerned to see staff taking pictures of the kids without parental consent. The staff's approach did not promote independence at all; in fact, it seemed like they wanted parents to be constantly hovering over their children.

11 months agoAlways always the best staff who are super friendly respectful and professional. Our toddler loves coming here and you can legit be here for hours and not notice. There are so many things for children to do and what I would suggest to everyone is to park at the mall, walk over and don’t forget to bring a full change of clothes including socks and shoes. The water play area is really messy (in a good way) which means your child will leave here soaked. Breastfeeding, special needs and baby friendly!
