We've been part of the Buckhead Gymnastics family since my now 5-year-old was just 2 years old, and it's been an amazing experience from the start. We've had the same incredible coach, Coach Kat, throughout our journey—she's truly wonderful and feels like part of our family. Her dedication, kindness, and passion for teaching shine through in every session. Over the years, we've done both group classes and private lessons, and both have been fantastic. The instruction is always top-notch and tailored to each child’s needs and abilities. The facility is consistently clean, organized, and welcoming. Everyone we've interacted with has provided exceptional customer service—friendly, helpful, and always professional. We also recently hosted a birthday party at the gym, and it was absolutely perfect. The staff handled everything so smoothly, and the kids had an unforgettable time. We can’t recommend Buckhead Gymnastics enough!

The showcases at the end of the year are fun and celebratory. The class sizes are larger than we hoped, with 8-12 kids which means your child spends most of the class waiting in line to spend time on bars, the beam, etc. For us, the class sizes were really frustrating as our child struggles with movement and there was not time to provide true coaching or instruction. Our first experience with Private coaching was frustrating, as we had a coach take advantage of us and charge more than we agreed upon. We found another one that is excellent though and will continue with that, dropping the classes going forward. These gym classes seem better for kids that already can do the moves on their own and want to socialize and be in a fun show.

My older daughter has been at BGC for 12 years and has been trained from Kindergym through Level 9. My younger daughter participates in their recreational program and has been competing within the AAU league for the past few years at level 5 rec. We have been very pleased with the gym over the years and feel our children are well trained based on their own skills and abilities. Additionally we have added private lessons as needed to recover lost skills (this can happen from using trampolines at home) or to expedite progression. In general, if your child has the skills/ability and genuine drive, then the gym is a great fit for them.

**Review of Buckhead Gymnastics** I recently had a disappointing experience with Buckhead Gymnastics regarding private coaching for my child. Despite our initial hopes, it became apparent that the gym prioritizes profit over genuine skill development and transparency. Upon booking private lessons, we were placed with a coach whose primary background was in cheerleading, not gymnastics. The coach was instructed by the gym owner to charge any rate they deemed fit, as long as the gym received $15. This vague and opportunistic pricing strategy is concerning and lacks transparency. What is more troubling is that Buckhead Gymnastics appears to take advantage of parents by overcharging for private coaching, even when knowing that the child has little to no chance of progressing to a competitive level. There was no clear assessment or honest feedback about my child's skill level or potential future in gymnastics, leading to a significant waste of both time and money. The lack of communication and transparency about the qualifications of their coaches and the realistic outcomes of their training was frustrating. As a parent, I expected a more professional and honest approach from a reputable gymnastics facility. In summary, Buckhead Gymnastics seems more interested in financial gain than in genuinely fostering the development of their young athletes. I would caution other parents to thoroughly investigate and ask critical questions before committing to any private lessons here. **Rating: 1/5**

We love coming here. My DD progress so much in the short term she was here. All the teachers are nice, we love coach Kenneth with his "grumpy" face :)), he is so nice with the girls, we love Eleanore for private lessons. They have showcase at the end of the year when all kids get medals ( so excited about that). If there is a wait-list, just put your kiddos on it, sometimes new openings are coming fast. Or give it a shot with private lessons, most of the teachers give them. If you do not know anyone it's ok, they will pair you up with someone based on your needs. The younger girl teachers are also nice, but I don't know their names.
