Burch Avenue Park

"Adorable little neighborhood park! SO colorful! This playground likes like it fell outta a bag of Skittles! LOVE IT! The entire park is completely covered by huge shade trees. SO nice! Great little playground and different stuff for young children to play on. My boy had a lotta fun here! Great little playground to bring your young children to!"

"This is one of the most shaded parks in Durham. It has a nice sized play structure with multiple sized slides and monkey bars. There are swings for big and little kids. There’s a stage area near the back. A bus for kids to play pretend. There are benches and picnic tables. The whole park is fenced in with a woodchuck surface. The only drawbacks are that the parking is street parking in a residential area so it’s limited. There is also not a bathroom so take potty breaks before you go."

"Burch Avenue Park is adorable. It isn't huge, but I think it's meant to be a smaller neighborhood playground. It has a great variety of equipment for the kids and even just some green areas; plenty of benches and picnic tables for seating. It has lots of shade; but not so much that the sun is blocked. It's our first time here, but I'm sure they're going to ask to come back again soon! Btw: no bathrooms. That's my only quip."
