a week agoI have been coming to camelback with my family for the past ten years. And I must say we have a great time each visit. The swim up bar is very nice , not crowded and drinks were reasonable. So much things to do outside of the resort as well, outlets are down the street , and local eateries are about less than five miles . Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a weekend trip .
Life As Is
2 weeks agoFront desk is passive aggressive and far from pleasant. Booked a room with a balcony but this unpleasant girl at the front desk puts me in an outdated room that was a walk out “patio” facing a wall on the first floor. I was baffled because that was careless to not make sure to give me the correct room I paid for. Had to go back to the front desk got someone different to help and I did get the correct room but she also made it complicated but my room smell like it was drenched in perfume. I was constantly sneezing and had to take an allergy medicine. On top of that, Almost every towel in the room had stains on it. Pink stains on the floor. The tub was cringy. The bed is hard and stiff definitely a spring bed. I can’t seem to understand why you have to pay $25 per night for parking as a guest and $100 per night for accidental fee that is given back after your stay but still. It’s price gauging and finding things to charge guest for per day. The food is definitely overpriced and not worth the price. Sugar Shack ice cream is good! Have yet to try Aquatopia since this review is based on my first night.

2 weeks agoStayed in April for a week. They should have more to offer other than an indoor water park and an arcade. Theres literally nothing else to do. And the indoor water park is small. The kids are diving and splashing in the hot tub. Hot tub should be adults only. The lazy river has like 10 tubes so you’re forced to just dive in without a tube. Or you just stand there with the crowd of people waiting and fighting for a tube. The bar in the water park is wack. They don’t even have real drinks it’s pre made drinks. Who makes pre made pina coladas like come on. It tasted like a kids slushy. Furthermore, it’s hard to sleep at night cause kids run in the halls like they track stars. ITS REALLY BAD! You will not be able to sleep! Everything also has mandatory tip. Nothing is free not even the parking which makes no sense cause I’m already paying for the stay. They give you a buffet to serve yourself for breakfast and you still have mandatory tip! The beds and bed sheets make noise when you make a slight move.. no attractions near by other than a lousy mall. Don't stay here longer than 2 days you will be bored. This place is def for 1 day trip only. Maybe if you come in the summer with the outdoor park open it would be better.

a week agoMy family had a great time at Camelback Resort. We celebrated my son's birthday. We will definitely return in the future. The suite was really nice. I highly recommend!

2 weeks agoA nice vacation place to go with family and kids.. I love the convenience of having a room next to the waterpark… the reason I’m giving it a three star is due to the fact that the rules are very basic for the price they charge.. IMHO one could save more by booking a place in the Neighbourhood.. also the dinner places are overcrowded and I would recommend to book a table in advance if you want to avoid the wait
