3 months agoWhat a wonderful way to get in some steps while being able to enjoy a lovely view. Bonus, parts of the trail are for the doggos to be off leash and I got to pet many a happy pup today. There are some stairs but there are ways around them if your knees don't do well with stairs.

6 months agoNice trails on a beautiful Fall day. Don't be intimidated by the stairs, there are meandering trails up that aren't as steep. Just be careful coming down and take your time, enjoy the amazing views

a year agoReally neat park! There is a beach volleyball set up, tennis courts, playground, huge grassy area, and it’s dog friendly. There were tons of people out playing soccer, badminton, and just enjoying a warm summer night 😊 To get to the top of the hill for the view: we took the steep climb up to the top. Part of the walk is super sandy with loose rocks, so ideally bring shoes with good traction - the walk down felt harder! If you stick to the side, it’s more rocky and less sand which was much easier to walk through. Then there is a huge section of steep steps, with a handrail. There are other trails if you wanted to take a less steep route with some baby switchbacks. Lots of mountain biking happening! Would recommend for a host of activities. Really cute neighborhood surrounding the park, and Hyde Park is nearby for food & drinks & shopping.

a year agoA small little foothill where you can hike up in less than 10 mins to catch a glimpse of the Boise downtown/residential. Good spot for kids - playground, picnic during warmer weather
