I took a 2-day private lead climbing course with Rick back in October. He is so knowledgeable and does a fantastic job of explaining things. I truly cannot recommend taking his course enough for anyone else who is looking to become a more confident, competent lead climber and belayer.

Had an amazing time climbing with Rick at Castle Rock on Tuesday, October 15th. We did a mix of top rope and bouldering, with some great routes from easy to moderate. Rick was super chill, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience really fun. Whether we were on the ropes or tackling boulders, he had helpful tips and kept things relaxed. Highly recommend climbing with him if you're in the area – it was an awesome, awesome day!

The whole team was amazing. The Castle Rock experience was fantastic. It’s good for all levels including beginners to enjoy a real nature climbing experience and the team is extremely fantastic, and we would highly recommend it. The team is very professional, they make the experience much more enjoyable. Highly highly recommended as a must if you live in the bay area!

Last Friday, 8/23, I climbed with guide and climbing school owner Rick at Castle Rocks State Park on a 6 hour private guided trip. It was worth every penny. I had a great time with Rick, chatting about our respective climbing backgrounds while Rick set up climbs for me that were just right, not too hard and not too easy. I hadn't climbed outdoors in several months, but with Rick's beta, I managed to get up most climbs with just a few tries. He was a real professional, and a true guide in every sense of the word. I really enjoyed the time I spent with Rick. When I get the chance to be in CA again, I will definitely book another outing with Castle Rock Climbing School. Thanks Rick for a memorable day of climbing.

The Castle Rock experience was fantastic. I took my son and wife (3 people) for a family adventure and it was a great time for everyone. We are all at different levels, but Rick and Ben were expert at guiding us and making it a great day. The Castle rock team is very focused on safety and fun. You will not be disappointed.
