Central Rock Gym

"Atlanta's newest rock climbing gym. Part of the incredible Stone summit chain, this bouldering only gym has four caves, two slabs, and possibly the best route setting on the east coast. Walls are by waltopia and the holds are very good quality, they have the best volumes. The wall texture volume texture and hold texture is very new and rough, takes a lot of skin. Right now December 2022 they have the opening set, which I hope will be indicative of future route setting, but right now it's phenomenal with half a dozen dynamic moves, dozens of mantles and heel hooks and everything you could want "

"Went here for the first time in months. This facility is brand new and very dirty. A lot of the holds are very slippery and lacking texture - they either are just insanely trafficked or been up for a long time or both. Every....single....wall had so little to climb. The setting was pretty good for the little problems on the wall. Almost blank walls with 5-6 problems a wall (some more dense than others.) Just seems like they should have a lot more on the walls, ended up climbing everything I wanted in an hour which is wild."

"Great Bouldering gym. It's fairly new so the holds and walls are in great condition. 1/5 of the gym is set every Tuesday and also part of it is always kept as a comp set for the teams that train here. There is also a minimal weight training setup with a few benches, 4 racks, some plates, and dumbells. The staff are also super friendly"
