Insider tips

  • **Pack a picnic/snacks:** The presence of benches, tables, and a large lawn encourages bringing blankets and food for an enjoyable outdoor meal.
  • **Check bathroom functionality:** Be prepared with hand sanitizer or alternative plans due to the uncertain status of the single chemical bathroom.
  • **Look out for wildlife:** Keep an eye on trails for deer and chipmunks, adding an extra element of nature exploration.
  • **Utilize the shade:** Strategically pick a shaded spot under the trees for setting up your base, especially on hot days.

Good to know before you go

  • Families heavily relying on fully serviced, clean restrooms with changing facilities, due to the limited and unconfirmed chemical bathroom.
  • No specific times or days were advised to avoid due to crowds or other issues; all reviews are overwhelmingly positive.
  • Only one chemical bathroom is mentioned, and its functionality/cleanliness is unconfirmed by reviewers (one reviewer stated they didn't try it).

"Great playground with separate areas for 2-5yo and another area for 5-12yo. Has plenty of trees so you can find a shade that will help in those hot days. Also, there’s enough benches and an area with a few tables. There’s a good parking lot for free. Plus there is one chemical bathroom (although I am not sure if it works because we didn’t try)."
