💡Pro Tips from Reviews

  • Plan for no on-site restrooms; ensure children use facilities before visiting or prepare for alternatives.
  • Bring hats, sunscreen, and possibly a portable shade tent if planning to use the swings during sunny periods, as they lack natural cover.
  • Carry a backup battery or power bank for phones or other electronic devices, as there are no visible power outlets.
  • Arrive early to secure a parking spot, especially if you wish to park close to the playground side, due to limited availability.
  • If picnicking or spending extended time near the pond, consider bringing a small trash bag as garbage accumulation was noted in that area.

Things to Consider

  • There are no bathrooms available on-site, which is a significant drawback for families.
  • The swing set is located directly under the hot sun with no shade, making it uncomfortable during peak hours.
  • Parking is described as 'very limited,' especially on the playground side.
  • No visible power outlets, so charging devices is not possible.
  • Some accumulation of garbage was noted near the ponds.

Price & Value

This is a free public park, offering exceptional value for outdoor family entertainment. The extensive amenities, including two well-maintained playgrounds, scenic walking paths, various seating options, and a ping pong table, provide substantial recreational benefits at no cost.

Accessibility & Special Needs

  • The presence of a 'great walking path' suggests it is generally accessible for strollers and potentially wheelchairs. However, no specific accommodations such as sensory-friendly hours, specialized equipment, or staff training for special needs are mentioned in the reviews.

🍎Food & Drink Policy

  • Outside food and drinks are permitted, as indicated by the availability of wooden picnic tables and benches. There are no mentioned restrictions on bringing your own refreshments.

🚗Parking Info

  • Parking is available but is explicitly described as 'very limited' specifically on the playground side. Visitors should anticipate potential difficulty finding a spot, particularly during busy times or if arriving later in the day.

👥Crowd Levels

  • While not directly stated, the park being a 'neighborhood find' and offering 'tranquility' suggests it might not be excessively crowded. However, the mention of limited parking implies it can get busy enough for parking to become an issue, indicating moderate to potentially high attendance during popular times.

🛡️Safety Features

  • Reviewers consistently state the park 'feels safe' and is clean, contributing to a secure environment. No specific security measures such as staff monitoring, security cameras, or gated entry are detailed in the reviews.

When to Avoid

  • If immediate and easily accessible restrooms are a priority for your family, especially with young or potty-training children.
  • During peak sun hours if your children are sensitive to direct sun exposure, particularly when using the swings due to lack of shade.
  • If you require abundant, stress-free parking directly adjacent to the playgrounds.
  • If you rely on public power outlets for charging devices during your visit.

Nothing but great things to say about this park. Great walking path, clean., feels safe. great set up, two playgrounds, benches and wooden picnic tables to sit down. Pet friendly. Cons: No bathrooms! Swing set is in bad spot with no shade directly under hot sun. The brand new toddler friendly playground is so nice! But it was not necessary. I just hope if they have $ in budget next year it’s not to replace the other playground and used towards a bathroom instead.

It’s a really nice park. 2 different playgrounds, 1 swing set with 2 normal seats & 2 baby seats. Covered seating as well as several basic benches. I also saw a ping pong table & was told of a small pond with ducks. No visible power outlets, so if you plan to play on your phone, bring a backup battery. Parking is very limited on the playground side.
