Chicago River Canoe and Kayak at Clark Park

"Come kayak here. They take care of everything. They’ll help you climb in and out at the dock. Good boats, sleek fast ones and wide stable ones, single, double, canoe. No reservations, just show up and it’s a fair price. Bring a cash tip. Saw great blue heron, black capped night heron, green heron, baby goslings and ducklings, tons of turtles and a muskrat! We waved at the Brown Line driver and she waved and honked back. Just make sure you wash your hands and take a shower ASAP afterwards! River best enjoyed in dry weather - rain makes it extra filthy and stinky. Thanks Melissa!"
