Children's Discovery Museum

There's so much for the kids to do! The outside was awesome...not only for the kids but for adults as well. I could not help but take pictures of the beautiful benches and calming landscaping of the outdoors area. It's more driven towards kids from about 2-8... That age group could spend about 2-3 hours with no problem. They have a seperat area for kids 4 and under as well as a separate spot for smaller ones at the water area.

Note this review is for the Light Rail Station and not the museum. The station has a unique design with great color. It was developed in coordination with the museum and shares its design. It’s access isn’t super bike or pedestrian friend hence the 4 stars.

This is a fantastic discovery center for kids 5 and under. It is fine for older kids but they will be done in an hour or so. The art projects are great for older kids but a majority of the learning stations are best for little kids (not all of them but most) the local families know this so the cliental is younger. As visitors to the area we did not know this. We had planned to spend half of the day here but after an hour and a half my 6 and 9 year old were done.

If you live nearby a Light Rail station and want a fun adventure with the kids, I'd recommend giving this a whirl. It's quick, easy and good for the environment.
