3 months agoMy daughter was about seven (7) years old when she and I enjoyed her first theatrical experience at the Charlotte Children's Theater. Thirty-five years later, she and her children joined me to witness the "magic" of the lively performance, "The Three Little Pigs." What a legacy! Many thanks to all who work so diligently to "make it happen" for young people in this city. Also, a huge "shout out" to the Box Office Agent with the ultra-pleasant smile who was so kind to assist me with the purchase of my tickets. We shall return!

2 months agoThe staff at the theater was very nice and helpful during our visit. We were there to see The Diary of A Whimpy Kid. I understand the temperature can't be too warm because they want the actors to be comfortable but during this visit it was extremely cold. We were entertained and engaged and this kept our mind off of it at times but it was a little uncomfortable for the kids as well as the parents.

3 years agoMy kids are now 10 and 8. This is our 4th visit for a play and 10 years coming here. I highly recommended it for parents with children of all ages. They have a lot of great plays. The Imaginon not only has a great location, but you can arrive by train with your stroller and avoid the hazard of finding parking. They are located across the street from a great market where you can have coffee and lunch. The library has a great selection of books and activities. This is a worthy day trip and is free. :).

6 months agoBeautiful theatre and great shows. My niece is part of the children’s theatre, and we love seeing her in the performances. They go out of their way to make performances special all around.
