a year agoThis park is nice and relaxing to walk around. It's dog friendly, you can have a nice picnic here, playground for the kids, basketball area, as well as baseball fields. They have a big field for activities such as sports, playing fetch with your dog. Nice jogging area as well. I really like the path going through the trees also.

11 months agoThis park offers you calmness. It isn’t overcrowded. You can get in and out due to plenty of parking to accommodate…let’s say regular daily walkers, bikers and small groups using the shelters. Great park to walk, reflect and enjoy the scenery.

2 years agoThis beautiful City View park is located at 2703 kempsvile road near centerville turnpike Virginia Beach Virginia 23464 and it’s total area is 43 acres. There are four lighted softball fields and are available for rental use only, multipurpose fields, walking trails, picnic shelters with charcoal grills, playground, basketball courts, very nice public restrooms, vending machines, lots of space for children to play. I sometimes go there for walk and today went early there it quiet peaceful mind relaxing atmosphere, better place for meditation early in the morning when I went today there it was quiet just couple of people came with their dogs. Nice place for family walking and picnic party, very nice clean parking lot and safe place.

a year agoFirst time coming to this park today & brought my 5 & 3 y/o with my dogs. It was nice to walk around until we got to these puddles on the walkway. I walked carefully through the first one thinking it would just be that one until I turned the corner and saw another one which was much deeper. Drainage seems to be a big issue here so I can’t recommend coming here to walk after rain. A couple things I noticed on the playground were loose parts on the swings which made my son feel uncomfortable when swinging and part of the spongey turf material was broken off which may be a tripping hazard for littles. Just heads up for anyone wanting to bring kids :)
