Clayton Harvest Festival

"This festival is NOT THE STATE FAIR. If you want a large fair then you can go to the State Fair in Raleigh and have a great time. That being said, we actually chose to skip the State Fair this year and just go to the Harvest Festival in Clayton three days in a row because it is NOT as big. There is no fee to get in. This is great for those of us with young kids and friends with babies who can’t go on rides but still want to go for an hour and not have to SPEND $20 for mom and dad to walk the kids around. "Me, My husband, our 5 year old daughter, and my mother went to the Clayton Harvest festival on Sat. 10/26..... My mother and I both wore tin foil hats as our "costumes. ".... it was lighthearted and fun at first. TONS of people were giving us thumbs up and laughing/thinking it was funny. We would joke to people about how we didn't want the government reading our thoughts or that we were wearing them to protect us from 5G.... No matter what problems you had with other vendors- many of their problems would have been resolved by reading all the detailed and great information you provided before vendors made the trip. EVERY ASPECT OF THIS EVENT WAS GREAT FOR US! Don't beat yourself up for the 'bad' apples or negative remarks from any vendors not reading information or following guidelines!
