4 months agoI use to go to Cliff Rock years ago. The view was amazing. But the trees around the rock grew to block the view. I would like to see the trees trimmed or cut down to open up the view again. More people would visit and be up on the rock. That might keep the riff-raff away.

a month agoI've lived in Spokane pretty much since 1993, and had no idea this place existed. It has the most badass rock walls around the viewing points. It feels like midevil times, but then the hood all around here is all amazing homes. I've been driving around with my mouth wide open, probably look just like a mouth breather to everyone. The only thing I noticed about the two parks I've found using Google maps in this area,it's all so amazing to me, but not one person I've passed or seen, has even acknowledged me, not even dirty look. Maybe I died and they don't see me? I could be a ghost? I usually get dirty looks or police start looking at me because my truck is a 96 and that I'm trash, probably not why but anyway I'm going way off into some issues I might need to get some counseling on. This park is badass, I highly recommend it, I don't know if it's what you're looking for, but I feel like it's historic, I'm looking for info on it. Up a few blocks is the first one I went to, it was Lincoln or cannon hill park, and I'll review it shortly. And it's even more badass, it has a big pond with water chickens or ducks, whatever you call them, and the Homes around it, or both, are just.... you gotta see for yourself.

a month agoNever been here, but was exploring South hill and across this park. Was excited to walk off lunch and hike to top but it was closed. You could only walk half way up. Bummer people have ruined it for others. Cute little jr. Disc golf park

7 years agoI started going there more than a decade ago with my shih tzu and we still love it. At some point in time the stairs were re-done if that's the route you wanna go up. There are all sorts of pathways that circle the hill and intersect each other and are also kinda covered overhead with vegetation which gives the effect of "secret pathways" for the youngsters of the family. A waist high rock wall encircles the entire top.

5 months agoHonestly, I wasn't too impressed. There were at least two homeless spots i saw and garbage thrown about. The steps leading to the view up top were gated off. It's not really anything to see. Sorry to sound harsh, but out of all the spots I visited here, this one was the most sketchy so far. But who knows, maybe it was just a off season. It's worth to see for yourself. Just a heads up with the garbage and homeless.
