Cracker Country was great, but don't follow your GPS for the entrance. I followed GPS and couldn't figure out where to get in until I did. Follow what your tickets say in your email. There are many hands-on activities, almost all of them free. You can churn butter and then taste it. Wash vegetables freshly picked from their garden. Wash and iron clothes. Practice writing in cursive at the schoolhouse and learn about what a typical day at school was like. You can lasso a cow, organize oranges, watch and learn from the blacksmith, listen to beautiful music in the church. Stamp your own postcard at the printing press. Go inside a caboose and learn who worked on the train. You also get to play with old-fashioned toys. Pack a lunch and enjoy your visit with friends and family. You can buy some candy, jams, toys, and homemade items. There isn't much other food to buy if you're not visiting during the state fair. It's definitely a fun time and great learning experience.

I absolutely LOVED this museum. I'm a native Floridian, and I already knew a lot of the information. It was spot on with growing up in the country and the history. They incorporate activities to keep the tour interactive. On our specific tour, we made rope, candles, and butter. The butter was so good, we tried it on saltines. Yummy! We did get to take our rope and candle home with us. I loved the buildings we went in, I do wish we got to check out more buildings. I know each tour has to be timed, and maybe they are different when it's not a school field trip. My only complaint is that I wish I could have seen more and learned more. I'd even be happy to be able to explore other buildings on my own. Maybe offer this as an option for adults only? It's just so awesome, and so are your tour guides. They're very knowledgeable and very approachable. I recommend this museum to EVERYONE, who moves here and visits. If you're a Florida resident, you should have been at some point. 10/10.

This nostalgic tribute to what Florida's founders everyday life was like is better than the history books and is a true living museum of authentic old Florida.

Loved it. Brings you back in time and shows you the way of life 100 years ago. They have actual homes on site to show what it was like. I was able to attend being a chaperone for my son's second grade class. Not sure if it's open to the public.

Such an amazing place to go with family and friends! People are so nice and very informative. It’s outdoor and the ground was pretty muddy after the rain so make sure you check the weather. Most of the buildings are stroller friendly so you can bring your babies and toddlers there with no problem. I loved the music band; they were cool! There’re also plenty of parking. I will definitely come back!
