"This was my first time visiting the gardens and I was completely blown away! The grounds are fairly extensive, and neatly manicured. There are so many variety of rhododendron and azalea, along with other native flora and fauna. There are beautiful contrasts in the colors of the blooms and foliage alike. There were ponds, waterfalls, fountains, open grassy and bench seating areas as well. We witnessed a lot of wildlife as well! Ducks, geese, and even some nutria! Absolutely worth the $9 to have such an enjoyable and peaceful natural spot right here in town."

"Nice spot to see some rhoadies and azaleas in bloom. Good for a leisurely stroll but not a hike. Could bring a picnic and enjoy it on the lawn area or one of the benches in scenic spots."
