About Dave & Buster's New Orleans
A classic arcade and dining venue that offers great entertainment when games are functional, but suffers from highly inconsistent food quality and service speeds. Sitting at the bar often yields much better service than standard table dining.

Insider tips
- Sit at the bar instead of a restaurant table to get significantly faster food and drink service
- Inspect arcade games to ensure they have all balls and coins before swiping your card
- Stick to simpler food items like fries and avoid complex dishes like pizza which may arrive undercooked
- Be prepared to self-seat if the front host stand is unattended upon arrival
Good to know before you go

- Expecting quick table service if dining in the main restaurant area
- Extremely slow restaurant service with wait times exceeding an hour for food and 45 minutes for drinks
- Undercooked and raw food served, such as raw pizza dough
- Broken arcade games missing essential parts like balls or coins
- Crowds
- Relatively uncrowded on Saturday afternoons around 1:30 PM
- Value
- The 'Eat and Play' combo offers decent value, and overall food prices are competitive for the New Orleans area, but the value is severely diminished if you receive undercooked food or encounter broken games.
- Food
- On-site restaurant and bar service available
What parents say
"Food was not very good. We ordered the ribs on the eat and play combo. Sauce was off. Only thing we really are was the fries. Half the games were broken or missing balls or coins. The attendance didn't know anything or are too busy chatting amongst themselves. Enjoyed the games we did play. Wish they were actually working right though. Disappointed."

"It was amazing! My first time there and the people treated me and my cousin like we were family. Our food was amazing, the games were top tier, the employees were wonderful and had pleasant conversation. Much love to Ms. V and the bartenders for giving us such a wonderful experience. The Supervisor was very cool and deserve whatever goodness the company offers. Overall, everyone that works there deserves all the goodness for providing what felt like a once in a lifetime experience. We will be back here again!"

"Started really slow when no one was at desk when we arrived and had just seated ourselves after 15 minutes and other employees said someone would assist us. Luckily bartender was very personable and quick to get drinks and take food orders. Food was fairly good and a better price than most places around area. Games and cards fall in line with a typical D&B"
