a month agoParking was hard to find around 11am Saturday. The hike was easy and lots of families with strollers on this trail. This leads to the animal farm which was a great place to visit if you have kids. We’ll be back to try the other trails

2 months agoWe enjoyed a nice, relaxing 3-mile hike (actually more like a walk) to the historic Deer Hollow Farm. Because it was a beautiful late February day, the traill, which has a lot of signage) was crowded with lots of families with young kids; this speaks to the easy nature of the walk. The trail was wide enough, though, that it never seemed crowded so the walk was very pleasurable. The historic farm, with some structures dating back to the 1850s, is pretty cool -- and a nice learning tool. Definitely a good place to take a break and check out before heading back. Just be aware that parking can be difficult. Despite the many parking lots, a;; were full well before noon due to the beautiful weather. And depending on where you park, it can be a bit of a jaunt just to get to the trailhead. Overall, definitely a good way to get some exercise in a cool environment. And if you have young kids, great place to check out.

7 months ago1 mile from the parking lot to the farm. You will definitely encounter turkeys and deer on the trail before getting to the farm

a year agoWe parked here to hike and visited the farm as well. Well paved path. Good for strollers and kids. It's a bit of a distance to the farm. Best time is early morning to avoid the sunshine. If coming after 11am, bring lots of water, sunscreen and hat. Good walk, generally easy to moderate. Parking was fairly packed when we arrived at 10am on weekend and had to wait and got lucky to Park when someone left. There are several parking in the vicinity but all get packed soon. Arrive early or be patient.
