a year agoBeautiful park! It's hidden at the heart of Thornton Park, so it's quiet and more chill. The park has 2 sections, 1 is for bigger kids and the other one is for younger toddlers. The park is not brand new, but it also didn't feel things are dated. If your toddlers like a playground that is a bit challenging but not too "impossible to do it," this place is great. If you have mutil toddlers, this place is awesome. Check out the photos I took. They have swings for different ages, too. Furthermore, there is a grassy area next to the playground if you want to do a picnic. 5 stars for this park!

3 years agoThis is our favorite park in Orlando. They have done a great job with the playground for little and big kids. The softball fields and tennis courts are nicely laid out and cared for. There are a lot of trees for shade around the playground and fields. Highly recommend!

a year agoGreat local playground. There are a few benches for parents and a decent amount of shade. Parking is on-street, and availability varies with day and time. Play structures are lots of fun, and there are separate big kid / small kid setups. There is a fence that rings the entire playground.

a year agoRight at the beginning of a 3-month long journey, my car broke down in this neighborhood. With no other options, we spent the night here. A few teens and goons spent 1am setting off fireworks in the kids playground (it was 4th of July). A homeless man slept on a tennis court. We slept in the baseball dugout. Around 7am we awoke to "good morning you can't sleep here... Good morning you can't sleep here!!" from park staff.

5 years agoI like this park. It's small but has just enough to keep the kids entertained. I can actually relax here because I can see the entire playground from anywhere inside the play area (no blind spots) and it is fenced in. Plus, there's green space around the playground for catch, soccer, flying a kite, etc. if you want to bring gear for that.
