a week agoFrom the outside, one is not even aware of the spread of the garden. It's only when you enter and see the number of people lounging around that the scale is apparent. There's a lovely area in the middle where a music performance was in progress. And there were people gathered around cheering the musician. You can make out that they aren't seasoned musicians used to appreciation. So they positively glow. Much like the trees and the plants that are tastefully labeled. The seats are strategically placed. And the backdrop of each of the seating areas has their own charm. I must mention the signage, which is beautifully crafted and comes alive in the late evening with the lights. Even after we spent a couple of hours in the botanical park, we still had time to lounge on the grass outside and watch the night take over the dusk. But it was so gradual that it felt as if nature was tiptoeing around. Lovely, languorous evening

a week agoGorgeous so much to see in here you need hours. We spent 3 hours and could have easily spent a couple more. Frogs, ducks, a huge green house with Jurassic park look to it. Hibiscus flowers, japanese cherry trees all in bloom and beautiful. The entire place is amazing.

a month agoLovely gardens! Although it was still winter, we were able to enjoy our visit very much. The highlight definitely was the palm house with all kinds of exotic plants. It feels like you are walking through a jungle. The orchids were blooming and the variety of flowers was wonderful. We also enjoyed strolling through the rest of the gardens, although most sections lacked flowers or color due to it being winter. I would love to go back to see the ‘romantic garden’ section when the roses are in bloom. The Japanese garden was our favorite outside section, so serene and calm. Beautifully manicured. Hopefully, we will return late spring to see everything in its full glory.

4 weeks agoBeautiful and diverse gardens to enjoy strolling through. While many trees aren't green and leafy, and some of the flowers aren't in bloom yet (like the peonies and many of the perennials), there's still lots to see and enjoy. It's a gorgeous stroll through many different areas. I always love the Japanese gardens when visiting botanical gardens and this was no exception.

a month agoI really enjoyed my visit to the botanical gardens! Even though it is late winter there was still plenty to see and enjoy. There is a lot more here than I had previously anticipated and was delighted to have both indoor and outdoor spaces to explore. This is definitely a family friendly location as well as great for exploring solo.
