Why families love it

  • Massive 12-level central playground with slides, ladders, and interactive attractions
  • Engaging seasonal events and themed activities like Wizards Week and St. Patrick's Day scavenger hunts
  • Very friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff
  • Affordable admission and cheap snacks compared to other Las Vegas venues
  • 12-miniature-level central climbing playground
  • Hands-on displays and craft stations located throughout the museum

Insider tips

  • Skip the water play area until the very end of your visit so kids do not walk around wet and cold
  • Bring an extra set of clothes or Crocs for the water area, as the provided ponchos do not prevent kids from getting soaked
  • Don't forget to get your parking pass validated before leaving
  • Plan to spend more than 2.5 hours; do not show up only for the last couple of hours of the day

Good to know before you go

  • Visiting the water play area first thing upon entering
  • Arriving only for the last couple of hours of the day
  • Bringing teenagers who might find the displays too young for them
  • Exhibits can feel repetitive after a couple of visits, making the annual subscription less appealing to some
  • Special sessions require extra payment even with a membership
Crowds
Can be busy during school holidays like the first day of Spring Break
Value

"Absolutely worth every penny! This is an all day fun place so don’t show up only the last couple hours of the day. So much to learn, so many areas of fun and amazing staff. We end up purchasing the membership so we can come all the time."

"It’s a fun place to spend time with the kids, they get to learn new things and have a great time! But after our second visit, it started to feel a bit repetitive. I don’t think the annual subscription is really worth it, especially since you still have to pay for special sessions. On the bright side, parking is free! I’d say it’s best for kids up to 10 years old, teenagers might not find it as fun."

"All the employees here were very very nice and helpful. Took my kids 4 & 8 for a couple hours while husband had a business meeting on the strip. Parking was a little confusing, but if you get a parking pass don’t forget to get it validated before you leave. We have another Discovery Cube in Sylmar Cali, it’s a neat place to for maybe an hour… I think it’s a little expensive for the displays they have… but they have e a suggestion box and I couldn’t think of anything so I gave them 5 stars. The location is a newer commercial area, the museum itself is 3 stories high with elevators and stairs. "
