a week agoHiked yo the Dobbins Lookout on a clear Saturday sky... Took the Holbert trail not very well marked but still a much easier hike than the Camelback. Views during hike is breathtaking somewhat better than what at top.

4 weeks agoAmazing views of the city! Very busy as I got to the parking lot around 3pm on a Saturday. It was even busier around 6pm when I left. Very small parking lot. The trails are marked but you have to already know which trail you want to go on. No trail maps posted and almost no cell service at the top so plan ahead.

2 months agoWinding road with multiple speed bumps in the beginning.. but leads to an unobstructed sunset and city view! Absolutely beautiful!! Parking may be limited if you aren’t there a bit early, but there are some pull outs below the parking lot alongside the road. Definitely worth the drive!

a week agoFat girl review, here. I'm 5'6" and over 300lbs - but I'm in my 30s so I get around mostly fine. I was worried there would be a physical limitation on my part because of my size and lack of athleticism. There wasn't. Dobbins was delightful. Parking is near the viewing area, stairs are minimal (although some without handrails). There are a couple of photo ops if you're like me you might miss out on because of the length of step and strength required to step up onto a ledge, but it doesn't detract from the experience at all. My family and I enjoyed Dobbins Lookout and I hope you do, too!

2 months agoWe hiked to the top from the Holbert Trail head. While it has some moderate spots, there are a few more rugged areas. Beautiful hike. Lots of views of the valley on the way up. The view from the lookout was amazing. Loved it.
