2 years agoParking is difficult at least on the weekends it is a smaller shared lot and the spaces are a little tight. This was our first time visiting and brought a group of 4 kids to try things out. Everyone was very helpful and understanding, and patient. It's hard to keep the belaying workmen on for some of the kids while they're trying to boulder. There are marys to land on and people to help belaying. When there's a large group or party there's a bit of a wait. But that's too be expected. Overall, the kids had fun and the prices are reasonable.

2 weeks agoThey have poor communication. Went to book a private belay session and the worker called back saying 5 days in advanced isn’t enough which is fine, but then he told me to come in on Saturday for a lesson in repel. I get there and the worker laughed and looked at me as if I was lying? I showed him the call and I don’t know why he would argue with me about something they messed up on. If they are too busy they need to take down the lessons on their website until they are staffed up enough to handle people.

6 months agoGreat place to climb the staff are fun to talk to, very knowledgeable. For $25, first-time admission gets you unlimited climbs and 3 rope climbs in 2 hours. They have rental rates at $5 for climbing shoes, pretty good. Best value, I've been going here intermittently, and this place and its community is outstanding. If this is or is not your first time, this place will challenge you. I bought what whay I needed to start at this gym. They have a vending machine and protein. They have chalk and equipment, now the chalk isn't the best, but it's better than nothing 🙃. They have climbing finger boards and route wall for the technical practice. Now, I do feel obligated to say this, I am not being paid to write this review. I really do like this place, the staff and the community built around it. I've been going here and other gyms around for years now, and nothing comes close to this one. If you're in the area and you are trying to find a gym to climb, try it out.

a year agoThis review is focused solely on kids birthday parties. In summary, I don't recommend having kids parties here (especially if they are young kids). My daughter was recently invited to a party with about ~20 kids. At first, I was happy to see that there were 5 "helpers" from the gym and that everyone wore safety gear. At a 1 to 4 ratio, it surely will be successful. This was not the case. Sadly, I think these helpers were quickly getting overwhelmed with the number of kids. One of them lost her temper and started yelling at the 6-7 year old party goers. This resulted in tears and children asking their parents to leave. This also happened when I went here for a previous party so it is a repeat offense. The party then moved into the next phase where the helpers worked ropes for the climbing walls. This meant that the other 15 kids were pretty much unsupervised (which is a challenge when the children are young). The most surprising part of the party was the "party room". It seems as though that the helpers job ends once the children go into the party room. This means the parents need to handle all aspects of the catering. I can tell you this is not the norm for a typical kids party. I have no doubt that this is a good rock climbing gym. Once again, this review pertains only to the kids birthday party events. If you have young children, you might want to look elsewhere (assuming these helpers continue to be uncapable of controlling their temper).

3 years agoWent here for a birthday party for kids. Brought my 5 year old. He absolutely loved it. Tons of walls to climb for him. They even provided some one on one climbing with a instructor attached to my son's rope so he was able to make it to the top [30ft?] They had an even larger wall[90ft?] But he was too scared to attempt it. He was also exhausted by this point of the party. All in all, great experience for the 2 hours we were there!
