"The Rawlings Botanical Gardens offer an amazing assortment of palms & ferns, an orchid & tropical plant room & a desert area featuring all types of cacti, many in bloom. It’s a feast for the eyes, and if you have your smart phone with you, you can dial up some interesting historical facts about the conservatory & the various Flora you are seeing. A $5 free will offering is suggested. What a delightful way to spend 90 minutes on a drab indoor day or a great place for a picnic on the grounds in milder weather. And the Maryland Zoo is right around the corner."
