My young daughter, small dog and I went for a good walk on the trails that were scenic and clearly marked. Also stopped at the play ground which was small but fun! The park has a public bathroom which is a HUGE bonus. And even though it was January we got to see some cool plants and a few forms of wild life.

Now this is a way to be with nature. To just walk around and see the lake, etc. was peaceful. My kids really enjoyed that so much that they didn't even care about going to the park that was there. As you walk the trails, the trees will be marked with a colored diamond (each trail has a different color). But the walk was gorgeous with the fall leaves. Will definitely come back especially to see how it looks during the warmer months.

I found the trails really nice to walk with your family, friends or just with your dogs. It’s a 45 minutes trail. Maybe more or less, depending the way you take. It’s safe(I didn’t see wild animals, snakes etc) and you have a nice lake where you can see some ducks, birds and turtles. There are some streams too. Parking close to the lake and you can rent a hut/cabin or just bring your hammock and have a relaxing nap close to the lake. You can also find a park with games for kids and fishing area. It’s a

Great trails around a peaceful lake, lots of places to sit, paved paths and boat house. Good fishing too!

Many trails to take here. I went to do some photography. There are play areas for the kiddos and public restrooms. Not all trails are stroller accessible from what I saw. Love to check it out in the Fall to see what beauty lies within.
