Durham Armory

We went for NC Disneyana. The room was too small but it was still kind of a cool building. I was very disappointed in the unisex bathroom they had make-shifted while the women's was being worked on. I'm not okay with my young daughters sharing a restroom with some strange dude. The temperature of the room was nice though, that's not always the case with older buildings like that. The location wasn't terrible but it would be better if it was closer to the interstate exit for the type of event we attended. The acoustics were pretty good from what I could tell with the music and MC speaking.

The Durham Armory is awesome! Great place to see live events like the one Triangle Kickboxing Promotions put on a couple weeks ago. This kickboxing event is a must-see. I traveled 2 and 1/2 hours just to see it. Amazing amateur and pro fighters put on a great show! You can't find anything like this in Charlotte. I've also had the pleasure of fighting for this promoter. They never disappoint, and the Durham Armory is a wonderful supporter. I will be back! 😊

Went to a wedding here and it's been awhile since I've been in the building. I loved how it was transformed into a beautiful wedding space. Bathrooms were nice and clean. I love how they have the baloney wrapped around the sides.

I've always enjoyed attending events at the Durham Armory. It's very spacious and can accommodate any occasion. I attended a line dance party there and had a ball!! I saw people I hadn't seen in years. On another note, the Armory is reasonably priced to rent. It's rentable for a six hour interval. Unfortunately, it was booked every Saturday for the year when I wanted to rent it for a date in September when I inquired back in February.
