"We hiked this today for the first time. My husband and I are very active and here on vacation. I would say this is a challenging hike. Definitely take your time and stop for breaks. Highly recommend you start early in the morning if possible. We started at 8 am and it was WARM on the way down. Wear sunscreen. I grabbed a lot of rocks and wish I had hiking gloves on! Best opportunity for parking if you go early. Must take a minimum of 2 water bottles per person, but should definitely take more. A protein bar would be a good addition as well. Other hikers are very friendly and helpful. Wear a ha"

"If you are a hiker, and you haven't climbed Camelback, then slap yourself and get to it. Great hike. Very scenic. Beautiful. Some say it's a difficult hike. So many cool caves. Get there EARLY. Parking is limited. That goes for the parking at the Cholla Trailhead too. Did I mention that you should get there EARLY? For most people who go there just for the exercise, it takes maybe 1 hour - 1.5 hours. I take longer, because I like to enjoy beautiful mother nature. And I take a LOT of photos."
