Elephant Encounter at Hogle Zoo

This is one of my most favorite exhibits. The elephants are huge and their habitat seems appropriate for their needs and well maintained. The elephants seem well cared for. The staff seem to really care. I really enjoy the shows and the option of feeding the elephants. I highly recommend. I will be back.

One of the best zoos we’ve been to! Excellent service all around. As well, a great selection of animal exhibits.

I didn't spend a ton of time at this part, however, I did enjoy the elephants and rhinos. The rhinos actually came out a little bit, but they were behind in a small area. They eventually came out. I have pictures for that.

This zoo is letting the elephants live a life of freedom and not in a prison, no matter how large it still isn't large enough. I hope all zoos will release their large and active animals and people will educate themselves on all animal cruelty. Remember when you ride, take pictures with babies or swim with the prisoners they have been taken from their parents and have been beaten for your entertainment.

Very nice exhibits. We went during the winter, and we're lucky to see the elephants out for a brief moment. If you want to see elephants, go in the summer
