Elmendorf Lake Park

"Elmendorf Lake Park in San Antonio is a lovely and well-rounded destination for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors. The park features a beautiful lake perfect for fishing, with a nice fishing pier that I’m definitely planning to try on my next visit. The walking trails are well-maintained and offer a peaceful environment for a stroll, while ample seating and BBQ areas provide ideal spots for relaxing or enjoying a picnic. I did talk to some people fishing under the bridge and they said they were catching bass. I did inquire about walking in the area past the bridge away from the college camp"

"I just really enjoyed the sites and sounds of the park! The only downside was humans leaving quite a bit of trash in the bushes around the lake."

"First time here and I loved it. The pool was very nice not to deep only goes up to 4.6ft there are no chairs or benches in the pool area so it's best to bring if you have any. The park is very cool, has all types of things for the kids to climb on. The trail to walk on is beautiful too with a great view of the lake."
