3 weeks agoGreat exercise and great views. Moderately challenging. Some climbing on rock ledges and squeezing through small corners, but overall not terribly difficult.

a month agoNice start area for some rugged hiking. Beautiful views of the Sandia mountains, as well as Albuquerque and the West Mesa.

2 months agoEmbudito trail is one of my favorite hikes. You always pass so many friendly faces and get a great workout. I love to walk up and back in one hour.

a year agoVery scenic view of Albuquerque! Come one hour before sunset to get a view like this at the plateau of this trail (next to parking lot). Tram was closed at the time, but this was great! It's also fun to whistle to hear the echo! Fun to touch the cactus nearby! 😂

a year agoDid the 4 miles loop trail. Great view from top and you can see the stream if you go there in right time! Right now some part needed to be hiked on the stream. So a good water proof show hiking shoe would be something to bring. Also this hike labeled as moderately difficult in Alltrails, but it's harder in some part that requires climbing/sliding/jump through rocks. If water present, the rock becomes slippery.
