Escape Hour Austin

Came here on a whim and it did not disappoint!! We did Dead man’s cove which is a pirate themed escape room and it was really cool!! The rooms truly do match to the theme and it wasn’t difficult at all…except for one part only. The game master Lee was amazing and did a great job at explaining everything to us! They were so nice! :) We will definitely come back to try the Cabin part 1 & 2!!!

Levi was amazing!! He immediately greeted us with enthusiasm and talked with us for a bit before bringing us to the room. We played the Crypt, the room itself was wonderfully designed, very immersive and Levi was by far the funniest game master we have had at any escape room. We came to celebrate prom and he made us a card and took our picture. This was definitely a core memory for all of us! Tyler was great too!

Giving it 5 stars because we had a blast. The room was solvable and the props were decent. Not at all rundown like other escape rooms I've tried. What really made it stand out was the super friendly staff. That made all the difference. They're very strict about no phones for photos or videos, not even to use as a flashlight! 📱🚫✨

Me and my boyfriend did 2 rooms back to back. We haven't been to this venue yet. Really nice staff (Leia) who arranged everything. She even arranged it so that we could start a little earlier since we arrived early. We especially liked the Dead Mans Cove, it was well organized and the puzzles made sense and the whole room had a good vibe to it. Second one we did was Call of the Ancient. It was good. We've done a lot of Escape rooms, and Dead Mans Cove would be one of our favorites so far. We will be coming back for more next time we're in Austin!

We’ve done five escape rooms here and all of them are above and beyond any other escape room we’ve done. Between the impeccable theming, puzzles, technology, and incredible game masters, the experience is completely immersive and so fun — as a former Disney Imagineer, I am blown away every time. Shoutout to Percy who’s been game master for two of our games and even made a birthday card from one of the characters during our game for my birthday last year. We had another game master make this masterpiece of a birthday card for my boyfriend’s birthday last June when we did the pirate-themed room — just one of the many ways they go above and beyond. Escape Hour has the best rooms around by far, and we can’t wait to try every room!
