Why families love it

  • Rooms are super detailed, professional, and immersive, creating engaging experiences.
  • Staff is consistently praised for being friendly, helpful, and 'true to character,' enhancing the overall experience.
  • Game Masters excel at providing clues and encouragement when needed.
  • Specific rooms like 'Gold Rush' (best theme/gameplay) and 'Haunted Mansion' (immersive and scary) are highly recommended.
  • Customer service effectively resolves booking issues (e.g., gift card codes) promptly and professionally.
  • Discounted tickets are offered after completing a room, encouraging return visits.

Insider tips

  • Go with a small group (e.g., 2-4 people) to ensure everyone has ample opportunity to participate actively and avoid waiting.
  • If you prefer strong theme and gameplay, consider the 'Gold Rush' room.
  • If your group enjoys a scary, immersive experience, the 'Haunted Mansion' room comes highly recommended (but gauge your children's tolerance for frights).
  • Be aware that some physical mechanisms in the room might require patience and persistence to operate even after solving the puzzle.
  • Take advantage of the discounted tickets offered after completing a room for future visits.
  • If booking issues arise (e.g., with gift cards), customer service is responsive and professional via phone.

Good to know before you go

  • Large groups (more than 4-5 active participants) who expect everyone to be constantly engaged with separate puzzles.
  • Families with very young or easily frightened children, particularly for the 'Haunted Mansion' room.
  • Individuals who get easily frustrated by finicky mechanical puzzles or locks.
  • Not ideal for large groups: rooms lack multiple parallel puzzles, leading to only one or two people actively participating at a time, resulting in waiting for others.
  • Some mechanical puzzles or mechanisms (keypads, locks, key fobs) can be finicky and difficult to operate even after the solution is known, causing frustration and delays.
Crowds
No general crowd level information for the venue, but individual rooms can feel crowded in terms of active participation if groups are too large due to sequential puzzle design.
Value
No specific prices mentioned, but the offer of 'discounted tickets offered after completing a room' indicates an incentive for repeat customers and potential value for families planning multiple visits. Booking issues are resolved professionally, adding to perceived value of service.
Accessibility
No specific accommodations for special needs or accessibility features are mentioned in the reviews.
Safety
No specific safety measures are mentioned in the reviews.

What parents say

"The rooms were enjoyable, but not for a large group. There were not multiple puzzles that could be solved in parallel; everything had to be solved in series meaning only one or two people could do something at one time. Most of the time was spent waiting for someone else to do the thing they found. A number of the puzzles we're also difficult to complete once solved. For example, we spent 5 minutes trying to enter the first code but could get the keypad to work. We had the same issue with a lock and key fob; we found it instantly, but couldn't get it to work. Overall, it was still a fun time"

"I recently completed an escape room with four other family members, including my 8-year old niece. We all had such a good experience. The staff were so helpful, and they were true to character at all the right times. We had a hiccup with booking online with a gift card code. Our calls were answered promptly, and the issue was resolved professionally. We ended up buying the discounted tickets offered after completing a room, as we will be back."
