2 months agoThis place was fun, affordable, and accommodating. Best parts: It was quick to get into the room. The staff were very helpful, and they answered our questions/gave hints quickly. The experience was affordable. Some of our party showed up late and we were not penalized at all. Not good parts: The location is not super easy to find, it is within a larger complex of rented rooms/office spaces. Part of our group waited by the wrong entrance in confusion. The room was mediocre. I had a fun time, but have been in better escape rooms. Some of the steps were pretty convoluted, beyond what a normal escape room has.

a month agoThe experience was great!! I completed the room with 4 of my friends and we had a fun time doing it. Alex, or assistant for the room was also very fun. He had the perfect personality for our group. I will be going again!

in the last weekThe staff was AMAZING! It was my birthday trip and one of my friend’s first time doing an escape room. We had a great time and will definitely recommend to others when they visit Houston!!

a month agoMy time at Escape the Room was peculiar the moment I stepped foot into the building. I got there first out of my group. There’s no one to greet you when you enter and no one to direct you to do anything. I was there waiting confused with one other guest who was also waiting for her party. Finally an employee comes out from the office, and he wasn’t helpful but he also wasn’t unhelpful. He didn’t guide through checking in or signing waivers, but he did advise which rooms were available to book since we didn’t have a reservation. He suggested that we try The Agency room and he did advise that another group booked that room. He said that ten people is the capacity for that room and that we’d be fine with our group and the other group. It was indeed not fine. The Agency was way too small for ten people and many of us were left standing cramped in a corner with no task to do because there was simply not enough to do. That room is fitting for six people max. With the few clues available to work on, our group felt like we didn’t get to fully immerse ourselves into the experience because it was overwhelming with so many extra bodies and brains. The interior of the entire place is lackluster; the Agency room wasn’t challenging nor well-kept; the employee’s service was hot and cold. Honestly, I would not recommend this escape room to anyone. Definitely not worth the price. The high rating for this place was misleading. I gave an extra star for the few times the employee’s service was more pleasant.
